Floor plans

Main floor and upper floor.

Layout

A main-floor bedroom with its own bath, a second bath off the hall, and a loft suite with a third.

Two Suites, Main Floor plan

Main Floor · 760 sq ft

In the plan

  • Main-floor bedroom with its own full bath
  • Second full bath, laundry, and a utility closet off the hall
  • Open kitchen and living at the glazed gable end, open to the roof
  • Full staircase to the upper floor
  • Upper-floor loft with its own bath
  • Alternate layout: two bedrooms on the main floor plus the loft suite

Construction

How it’s built.

A structural insulated panel arrives as a finished wall: rigid foam bonded between two structural skins, pre-cut and numbered to the drawings. The 1160 carries the panels up into a shed dormer, so the second story is as tight as the first.

Questions

SIP questions.

Everything specific to the 1160 SIP. Full FAQ →

The standard plan has a bedroom suite on the main floor and a loft suite upstairs, each with its own bath, plus a second bath off the hall. The alternate plan puts two smaller bedrooms on the main floor and keeps the loft suite. The exterior is the same either way.

The SIP 1160 is new and priced per order for now. Request a quote and we’ll send a written proposal with the kit, freight to your site, and tax.

SIP for thermal performance: R-26 walls, R-40 roof, stamped drawings and the hardware kit included. Cedar log for the look and feel of solid wood. Both use the same 20′×38′ plan.

The 950 is one story with a balcony loft. The 1160 is longer and turns most of its length into a real second floor, with a bath upstairs.
